Short version: we collect what we need to get your order to you, we don’t sell it, and we’re not interested in tracking you around the internet. We barely want to be on the internet ourselves.
Who we are
Square Wheel Rolling is a small, one-person brand based in Kansas City. This site is squarewheelrolling.com. You can reach us at squarewheelrolling@gmail.com.
What we collect
- When you place an order: your name, email address, billing and shipping address, phone number if you give it, and what you bought. We need this to ship your order, answer questions about it, and keep the records a business has to keep.
- If you create an account: your login details and order history, so you can see past orders and check out faster.
- If you email us: whatever you put in the email.
- If you leave a comment: your name, email address, the comment itself, and your IP address and browser information (used to filter spam).
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe through WooCommerce. Your card details go straight to the payment processor. We never see or store your full card number.
Who else touches your information
Only the services it takes to run a small online store:
- Stripe and WooPayments process payments.
- WP Engine hosts this website.
- Akismet checks comments for spam.
- Google provides the Gmail account we answer email from, and the map on our About page.
- Shipping carriers get your name and address so they can deliver your order.
We don’t sell your information, rent it, or trade it. We don’t run ads.
Cookies
The site uses cookies to keep your cart working and to keep you logged in if you have an account. The Google map on the About page and links to YouTube and Instagram may set their own cookies, under their own privacy policies.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept as long as we need them for taxes, returns and bookkeeping. Account information is kept until you ask us to delete it. Comments stay up until they’re removed.
Your options
Want to see what we have on you, fix it, or have it deleted? Email squarewheelrolling@gmail.com and we’ll take care of it. Some order records may need to be kept for legal or tax reasons, and we’ll tell you if that applies.
Kids
This site isn’t meant for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, we’ll update it here and change the date at the top. Nobody will be notified, because, as previously established, nobody knows this site exists.
